Google has announced a new version of its popular Google Play music app for iPhones and iPads.
The app, which is already available on Android and the Google Play store, has now been ported to the Apple TV, Apple’s new streaming box.
Google says the new version has a “completely redesigned interface” and includes new features like “playlists” that can be sorted by artist or genre, the ability to view albums and playlists in full screen and a new “playback pane” that displays the album artwork, album title, track name and album artist.
Google’s music app was first released in 2010 and has been downloaded more than two billion times.
Google is now the first company to release a version of the app for both iOS and Android.
Apple, however, has yet to release an official version of Play Music for the iPhone.
Apple has previously said it is working on a “fully integrated” version of Google Play, and Google has been quick to confirm this.
It’s not clear if Google is planning a full integration for the Apple ecosystem or if Apple is just going to add a couple of new features to the app.
Apple also released an update for the iTunes App Store, which will allow users to download songs from iTunes on an iPhone or iPad.
