Apple has updated its iOS 8.3 beta to include a fix for a bug that could cause the iPhone 6s to run more slowly than it should.
The bug was reported in the App Store by user Cezary, who wrote that the new version of the iPhone had been updated to “enable better performance on low-end processors.”
In an update to the App, Apple notes that the update to iOS 8 fixed the problem.
In a follow-up tweet, Cezaries app was updated to update to include the fix.
Apple’s updated iOS 8 beta includes a number of fixes for battery life issues, including one that fixes the bug with the new Apple Watch.
Apple has not provided an explanation for why the new iOS 8 fix wasn’t included in the update.
